Oral Presentations will begin April 10, 2015. Students should sign up for a date as soon as possible.


***RUBRICS must be turned in with each component of the research project. ALL students were given file folders with all important information and rubrics!***


****Just to clarify several points about the Country Report Research Project. The notes pages do NOT need to be typed. They are pages that students were able to use to gather information and keep it all in one place. At the end of September, all students were given a file folder with ALL country report information, including directions and rubrics for each part. If you have any questions, please see the link on the left for Country Report Information. The finished, TYPED country research report is due March 11, 2015. Students are reminded of this daily and encouraged to see me if there is a problem with typing the report. If I know of an issue, I am more than willing to help find a reasonable solution!!!

Monday-No Homework
Tuesday-We are beginning Chapter 4, Ancient Egypt!  Be sure to study the vocabulary!  Quiz on Friday!

Thursday-Quiz FRIDAY on Ch. 4, Les. 1
Friday-Oral Country Research Report presentations and PowerPoints will begin on Friday, April 10th!  Please make sure you are prepared to present on the date you picked.  Also, be sure to let me know at least one week ahead of time if you plan on bringing food for your presentation.

We will be spending the next two weeks getting caught up with current events and working on our country research reports which are due by March 20, 2015.  We will be typing our reports as well as discussing the oral presentation and Power Points.  Oral presentations will begin on April 10, 2015!

March 2-6, 2015

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday-Students will write about The Boy In The Striped Pajamas each day after watching the movie, summarizing what they watched that day and making predictions as to what they think will happen during the next segment.
Thursday-Holocaust Project due TOMORROW!
Friday-Next week, we will be focusing on our Country Research Reports and discussing the PowerPoints as well as the oral presentations.  All dates will be assigned next week!
